You can find the Tower of Glenstrae easily on google maps. We are approximately 68 miles from Glasgow airport, 22 miles from Oban, 60 miles from Fort William and 94 miles from Edinburgh airport.

By car: We are on the A85. Our postcode is PA33 1AQ but typing that in to a satnav takes you deeper into the village of Lochawe! If you approach via Dalmally we are the first driveway on the left, after the three 30mph signs as you enter the village. If you pass the Lochawe hotel on the left you have gone 600m too far. If you approach via Oban the directions are reversed.
By train: Take the Oban train from Glasgow Queen Street and get off at Loch Awe station. Follow the signs to the main road. Then turn right walking past the Loch Awe Hotel and after 4 minutes we are the first house on the right (loch side).
Once you have learnt to navigate our garden you can take a shortcut using our own private path to the platform – useful if getting a train back from Oban or Dalmally if you want to drink!
