Another interesting piece of British cultural and artistic history is this rather wonderful painting by JMW Turner – which I think now hangs in Plymouth Art Gallery. Believe it or not we have seen many wonderful rainbows over the castle – luckily for you I have not yet been driven to paint what I have seen on canvas!
